Work at Home Hub Now Has A Blog!

And this is the first blog post :)


I will tell you a little about Work at Home Hub. Our name was formerly Women Building Women (Work at Home Mums) and I launched the facebook page in October 2010, three months after the birth of my first daughter. Since then I have had my second daughter and she is now 5 months old already, it goes so fast!

I first began Women Building Women as I thought that work at home businesses, especially parents, were in much need of support and affordable advertising. So I decided to start Women Building Women because I wanted help work at home parents and micro business by offering them a place to network, build their business and be inspired. Hence the name 'Women Building Women', I chose the name because I thought it reflected our mission of 'helping to inspire and build'. We have just changed the name to'Work at Home Hub' as I wanted to be more inclusive of the work at home dads and other micro home business. However I still want to keep building and inspiring as the core of our philosophy.

I want to say a big THANK YOU to Amy and Nicole for doing such a fantastic job of helping me with Work at Home Hub. I am so grateful and would not be able to run it with out them. Espeially over the last week. As a busy mum, the only time I have had to work on this is late at night, so I have had many a late nights setting everything up so we can revamp our Work at Home Hub with new look, new name and new services. Amy and Nicole have been fantastic with their ideas, support and help!!
