5 Tips to Increase Your Sales

This list of short and simple, yet effect tips on increasing your sales can be applied to any sales situation, whether it is face to face or over the internet.
  1. Genuine Enthusiasm & Belief in What You are selling. If you believe your product is good, then there will also be other people who will believe it is good. People can usually tell when someone is being false or not genuine.
  2. Build Relationships, Not Numbers - People like things to be about them, this means building relationships and showing a genuine interest. People usually go with a company that they are already familiar with. Even though people may not know very much about a particular company or product, they still know of it. Therefore it is more and appealing and familliar than going with something completely unknown.
  3. Testimonials – Are a powerful thing. Include some customer testimonials on the page your sales page and in your brochures.
  4. Focus Only on the Product You are Trying to Sell – Keep your information short, simple and specific. Giving too much information on too many things may result in information overload and your message becoming unclear.
  5. Patience & Persistence – Usually success does not happen overnight. It does happen to some people, however it usually take consistency and hard work to build up a business. There may be quiet times. The important thing is to remain patient and keep trying. If you give up after approaching nine people, then you just might miss the sale at the tenth person.
